What is MADE?

MADE is a line of all-natural and organic green teas*, flavored with real fruit juice. We sweeten it just the right amount to make it totally tasty.

Does MADE have antioxidants?

Good news, yes! We have measured the ORAC value of MADE in order to give you an idea of how it compares to other foods. The ORAC value of MADE beverages averages 13.04 / g, measured within 2 weeks after production (average of all 5 flavors). For comparison, brewed green tea averages 12.53 / g (source: USDA Database for the Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity of Selected Foods, release 2, May 2010. http://www.ars.usda.gov/nutrientdata).

Why do you have Real Fruit Juice on the front of your bottles? Because we are proud that MADE is made with the actual fruit juices for each of our flavor combinations to flavor our drinks. You won’t find any stripped juices in our bottles.

What does organic mean?

Certified organic means the ingredients in MADE were grown without artificial pesticides or chemicals, preserving the land and water that make good things grow and assuring you that what you’re putting into your body is naturally refreshing.

Who makes MADE, and how, and where?

MADE is blended and bottled by the MADE Drinks Company based in Winnetka, IL. MADE is bottled aseptically, which preserves vibrant fruit flavors naturally.

Why does it have sugar?

Everything in life is a balance, and we think a little naturally sweet, organic cane sugar to balance out our bright citrus flavors is a good thing.

How is 10 Calorie MADE sweetened?

After trying many low calorie sweetener options this combination tasted the best, it’s that simple. Erythritol is a sugar alcohol and occurs naturally in some fruits & fermented foods. Sucralose is a no calorie sweetener manufactured under several brand names, with SPLENDA® being the most common.

Is the bottle recyclable? Is it BPA-free?

Yes and yes. We’re committed to sustainable and responsible practices, from how our ingredients are grown to how our bottles are made to what happens to those bottles once you’re adequately refreshed.
